We started with a simple idea: create quality clothing with personality — clothing that feels as good to wear as it looks.
Inspired by Derbyshire character, humour and the unmistakable “Ay Up Duck” greeting, our designs are bold, original and made to raise a smile. But behind the ducks and questionable sense of humour, we're serious about quality.

Our Story
Ay Up Duck was born in Derbyshire from a simple egg — Amy and Ross wanted to create clothing with character, without compromising on quality.
Inspired by one of Derbyshire's most familiar greetings, we've taken “Ay Up Duck” and turned it into something of our own: a premium independent clothing brand built around original designs, distinctive characters and a proper sense of humour.
We love creating designs that make people smile, but we're equally serious about what they're printed on. That's why quality sits at the heart of Ay Up Duck. From the garments we choose to the way our designs are produced, our aim is to create clothing that looks great, feels great and is made to be worn again and again.
What started with a duck, a few daft ideas and plenty of Derbyshire inspiration has a much bigger ambition: to build a British clothing and lifestyle brand with an identity people instantly recognise and a community they're proud to be part of.

Our Vision
Our vision is to grow Ay Up Duck into a recognisable premium British clothing and lifestyle brand — proudly born in Derbyshire, but made for ducks everywhere.
We want to prove that clothing with humour and personality doesn't have to compromise on quality. Every Ay Up Duck product should combine original design, premium garments and proper Derbyshire character to create something people genuinely enjoy owning and are proud to wear.
We want the Ay Up Duck mascot to become instantly recognisable, building a community around the brand and taking a familiar Derbyshire phrase far beyond where it started.
As we grow, our ambition is to expand beyond T-shirts and hoodies into a wider clothing and lifestyle range, while staying independent, creative and true to the personality that started it all.
We're not looking to create another novelty T-shirt company with cheap garments and tacky designs.
